The new IllScarlett single, "Take it for Granted," sounds like a rejected-but-amaaaaaazing song from RENT (piano pop-punk?). It also has what I very seriously believe to be a Fall Out Boy reference in the second verse (no, really, "thanks for the memories," twice, with the same tune, wtf else could it be?). Makes no sense at all, but there it is.
The bridge is, as far as I can google, a "motivational" "quote" constructed from several famous phrases, including one from Teddy Roosevelt. In conclusion: favourite song of the moment!
