We've got Magick to do

So, I've recently been helping promote Jeff Mach's events. If you read this journal, you are probably aware of this, as I posted a bunch of videos for Steampunk Worlds Fair.

Now, don't get me wrong, SPWF sounded amazing. I was sad not to be able to go. However, it did not sound nearly as amazing as this:

Or, more specifically, this:

:Midsummer Magick Faerie Festival - Down the Crooked Fairy Lane"

Squeeeee!! The last weekend of Midsummer is going to be a faerie festival, and I am so excited! :: bounce bounce bounce :: I'm pretty excited to be helping with a Ren Faire in general, as I've never been to one before, and it being outside means I can go. But I am extremely excited to get to go to a faerie festival. Mostly because I adore faeries, and will get to do all sorts of fun dressing up (if anyone has good suggestions, let me know). And helping with promoting and planning means I've heard about some of the stuff that will be going on, and it is going to be so much fun.

That being said, I wanted to poke people about it now, so they would know it existed, and see if they could come to it. I am hoping to be at all 3 weekends. But even if you can only come to one, or just for one day, you should definitely check it out. Especially my awesome senior friends who just graduated and who I won't get to hang out with all the time any more!

It's in Oxford, Connecticut, which is a totally reasonable distance from places like Western Mass, and New York City (looks pointedly at a specific Teaching Fellow). If anyone from the Valley is interested in going, but doesn't have a ride, let me know, I may be able to provide/arrange one.

faeries, midsummer, magick, renaissance faire, friends
