Sorry, short chapter. Hope you enjoy!
TITLE: The Gentleman and the Trickster
PART: 2/9
PAIRING: YooMin
RATING: R/NC-17
GENRE: Romance, angst, smut, fluff
SUMMARY: Normal. At least, Changmin had always maintained it to be so until a persistent Park Yoochun decided he wanted to dig deeper. School setting.
Chapter 1Oh, Yoochun knew it was going to be a veritable disaster (yes, he knew big words too, thank you very much) that day. He knew he shouldn't have gone to that party, but he was just fed up and frustrated and most people expected him to be there anyway. But then again, he hadn't quite expected to also find the contact-wearing, rather stylishly dressed Changmin there too. With a girl.
--------------------------------------------
Pissed off. Changmin hadn't meant to be so off today, but he had missed his ride, forgot that an English paper had been due and almost exploded at his partners during language class. Luckily, his mom had dropped him off (though 2 blocks away to avoid any type of unnecessary teasing) and he was able to get an extension for the paper. And just now, Junsu had almost been reduced to tears before Changmin could reign in his livid, scowling expression and school his face to one of calm complacence. He apologized quickly enough, and Junsu was all smiles and sunshine again. Changmin was loathe to make anyone cry, though he would claim it was to avoid any unnecessary attention as opposed to actually feeling empathy for another human being.
--------------------------------------------
Yoochun wasn't too much a beer drinker. Oh sure, he had done a few bongs and could chug just as quickly as anyone but he didn't really enjoy the full feeling. In fact, his favorite drink was shots of tequila or vodka. Usually, it depended if he could get the salt and lime too. Often, that was too much of a luxury at most house parties.
Therefore, he was impressed to find that someone had actually bought limes and salt (well, after raiding the fridge and cabinets), and was now proceeding to set up some shots. Yunho was going against Junjin in a chugfest, which he knew would only end up with Junjin utterly plastered and crashing on the floor. He sighed a little bit. They were close, but sometimes too competitive for their own good. So type A it wasn't even funny.
He had just tossed back the burning liquid before sucking on the lime when he saw Changmin talking to some girl in the hallway. Who, from the looks of it, was drunk and unsteady. Yoochun leaned forward to listen.
--------------------------------------------
"Oppa! Why won't you go out with me? Am I not pretty enough for you? Am I not smart enough for you?"
"Yuri, please understand that I am the one at fault here and that it's just I'm not interested in dating right now. It has nothing to do with your looks or your personality. We've gone over this before. I'm terribly sorry and I apologize. But I must sincerely decline your request."
"But oppa is so nice to me and so kind! I don't see why we can't go on one date! And you might end up realizing that you are ready, and that you enjoy things a lot with me."
"Yuri, please, I think we'd be better as friends and-"
"And he's not interested in girls. I'm sorry Yuri, you have to forgive Changminnie here - he can be too nice for his own good," Yoochun couldn't help the wide grin spreading across his face at seeing Yuri's disbelieving face and Changmin's furious expression.
"Yuri, could you please excuse us for a second ? I have something I need to discuss with hyung here."
"S-sure oppa..." she sunk to the floor in shock as he watched Changmin pull Yoochun not so gently to another hallway.
--------------------------------------------
"What do you think you're doing?!" hissed Changmin when they finally found an isolated corner. He was trying so desperately not to swear.
"Helping you?" Yoochun tried to make it sound sincere, but he knew it came off more as a taunt. Not that Yoochun really cared anyway. Changmin did not look amused.
"And why, pray tell, is that any of your business? Is this some sort of joke to you? What is your problem anyway?"
Yoochun just smiled.
"Well, I can handle things myself thank you. I appreciate your concern for my well-being, but I assure you, I am quite confident in my own capabilities." He turned to go but stopped when Yoochun suddenly said,
"I just like watching you break."
Changmin's eyes widened. Clearing his throat, he adjusted his shirt collar before saying coolly,
"You have a long way to go before that happens, hyung."
