"I love you.... tiao in the morning"
I first heard this line in a TV advertisement a long long time ago, and since then it stuck with me in my aersenal of failed attempts at being funny. I used to think it was funny cause it was so lame! but now the only thought i have is that it's an evil thing to say to someone. why the sinister change, one might ask? Well our experiences, especially those in the short term, shape our perspectives of events and people around us. I guess most people already know that as a fact but so did I too! But not until recently, did I realise how our thoughts and intents can distort our perspectives of things from things actually are. Sometimes, I really want to see things that way and I really really want things to turn out that way. But they don't because, reality check : nothing happens if nothing is done. Or, bad things happen if bad things are done.
