Merry Christmas! Have a great hols and a fruitful year ahead...
And I have found GOLD. I was talking to Junwen today after a (rare) day out and we sort of talked about wushu (a little) and left me muling over not going back to train this hols. Left me thinking about other things I may let go of when I've promised myself not to. I guess I don't want dance to be one of them, either... so I feasted over some crip-walking videos on You-Tube and got high. I've OK'ed my gliding long ago, but it sort of hit me only now that MAYBE I can still make it look better. AND moonwalk, too. Now I'll pick up crip-walking, and hopefully I might get somewhat good enough by modern chalet. LOL fat hope. The point is, less DOTA-ing, more doing stuff, and there's a good kel. The last videos I saw that really made it gold was melborne-shuffling. It's not your run-of-the-mill crip-walking, they actually dance it to trance music. Yes, melb-shuffle is for more than just humans.

Ok. Anyway, it's 15 days to enlistment, and I'm quite sorry to be a hermit and shut myself at home for most of the time till now. I still have some things I want to do and haven't done yet. I was at chalet with grand-seniors, seniors and batchmates from wushu since Friday, got back on Sunday, after which I spent the rest of the day preparing for the get-together the next day. Everything was really really good. Not the OMG-SO-HIGH-I-GOT-TOTALLY-WASTED kind of fun, not for me at least. Just the good 'ole days with Zhe, KingofMilk, Jonah, Glendon, Jiayong and the other seniors. Not that the turn-out was fantastic either, but it was just... perfect. Haha. The same chalet room I've wanted and never found again, the same things we all did together again long ago. I could just frame every moment, look at it and smile again. I'm glad to have seen Ryan and his batch too, made me remember how much more I missed about TCHS wushu. And of course, Lan and Co. got totally wasted on booze, like every other chalet before that since they were 18.
The next adventure I had was a nice Christmas Eve with the volleyball people. Edwin's plot to commemorate Alicia's birthday turned out well, and I found out today that he CAN really sing. The world is a better place with a duet of Alicia and Edwin. I was cheated of a nice ballad by Samuel though, because he was being nice and pushing the mic at Aaron at every chance. I enjoy their casual, cheerful and sincere company. And I hope Alicia liked the present that (Qian and) I picked out. This is a closure, perhaps. Bumping into Zhe was a nice embellishment
to the tale (read: Zhe plays a good side-character, the kind of NPC you meet in a game who tells a tall tale and gives you a quest, and not a very important one at that), too.
I can do more! If I can do what I did, I can do more. I hope you're having a great time in Malaysia, you are missed!
