A large chunk of this was written when nothing was going on in my AP US History class. (Sorry Jefferson and Hamilton, you're taught pretty badly.)

I know what you mean. I have Canadian Geography classes at least four times a week, and every hour I spend in that class is an hour lost off of my life. *sighs* It's so boring, and plus it's stuff we've already learned a zillion times before. I wanted to take Canada History, but there wasn't enough teachers. :( I don't usually write any fics in Canadian Geography, because I sit in the front and my teacher would definitely notice that I wasn't paying attention. But I do spend most of the class thinking about House, and thinking up fic ideas and storing them in my brain for later use. ;)

He should have stopped at Starbucks on his way to the hospital. He could use a shot of espresso. Or five.

*laughs* Oh, Starbucks rocks. Sadly we only have one Starbucks in the whole entire province that I live in. It's in a Chapters store, which is awesome, because I can read and drink coffee at the same time. ;) We do have like, a million Tim Hortin's here, but Starbucks is better. :)

"A date." He thinks he sees a spasm of something like fear play across her face. (Why is she afraid of what she wants?)

"You remember the last time you tried this?" But. It's not so much that he'd mind dinner -- or something -- with Cameron. Just that it's doomed to an awkward denouement. Still. A week without clinic hours in exchange for one awkward dinner. And Cameron will probably look gorgeous, so if worst comes to worst, he thinks, he can always stare at her tits. Or something.

"Yeah." Still the hint of a smile, and maybe a little hope. (She has way too much faith in him.)

"All right, then. It's a deal. But Cuddy'd better not find out, or this is over. She's bitchy enough."

But, for whatever reason, he can't help but smile back at her.

Ooohh...interesting! Can't wait to see what happens! :) Excellent chapter! :D

My God, this is a long comment. lol ;)
