Saturday it was pouring out and I was on campus to take a free LSAT. I got my score back Tuesday, I got a 136. The average is about 152. A 180 is the perfect score. I signed up for Kaplan's LSAT help program. I'm taking the online course. I can't do night classes. I'm working on the diagnostics test and then I'll start the program. I need a score and then my progress will be compared to it. My mom says Kaplan is very good and I could even get a 180 after finishing this program. I'll be very happy if I can get a 160 or 170. I'm very excited about it. This is a crucial test, the first for Pre-law.
I'm reading Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Homer's Odyssey. Rand's book is great. I like reading her books, her style is complex, blunt, glaringly honest, she doesn't mince words or write anything pretentious or shallow. You can tell she's very educated and she sounds a lot like a philosopher. The Fountainhead is another good book she wrote. There are some similarities, but the philosophy in her books touch on different aspects of life.
Speaking of Philosophy, I'm read Aristotle's book of ethics, the Nicomachean ethics. He distinguishes between real happiness and the happiness we think we feel.
