Day after the 4th...
Hey, it's a nice day. I hope y'all had a great weekend. I'm sure the fireworks were breath-taking. I was too tired to watch them.I went down to Maine to the beach, walked around and went to the mall one afternoon. It was fun.
The Discovery lifted off yesterday afternoon. The first launch ever on the 4th of July. I don't think they should've launched, but it looked awesome. I hope the re-entry will be a success but who knows? I heard that 5 pieces of foam come off the shuttle. None hit the wing, but one hit the belly of the shuttle. They'll observe it and in about 4 days, they should know bettter if it'll make it through re-entry. We'll just have to cross our fingers and wait until then.
