It's my birthday!!!!
I'm now 20 years old. Wow! I feel a bit old, hahahaha. It feels good to have made it this far. I successfully completed my first year of college, discovered what interests me... I feel awesome. I think I'm more focused than ever before.I've opened my eyes wider to other horizons. I realize now that now more than ever, I want to understand what's happening in this world, so I'm tuning in more to national and international news, though I probably should be keeping up with local news as well. And I want to learn more history, more in-depth and also world history. It's sad, but in the US, there isn't too much of an emphasis on learning about world history, I think. There are some people in the US who don't know where Thailand is, where Louisiana is, etc. It's sad, really. I do feel I am a bit ignorant when it comes to historical facts. In Justice studies, I did learn some history, better than nothing.
It's too bad it's going to be rainy and damp for the rest of this week. There was a flood warning issued yesterday. I wonder what's planned for this weekend...
My mouth still hurts when I yawn, but the doctor says it should be all right by next week.
