(no subject)
this weekend was nice. it didn't go too fast and i had a good Mother's Day. i got the first three seasons of SGA (early) and roses delivered at work on Friday. extra brownie points to Bub for the at-work roses.
went to Mommy and Daddy's for a turkey sandwich early dinner Sunday. we all talked and had fun, talking over and under and thru eachother's conversations. it's a little insane, but fun. got to talking about all that is happening with house hunting and the house we made an offer on and one sister said she wished she could see it and the other sister (hearing only the edge of the conversation) pipes up with "you're going to go see the house? i wanna go!"
so my mom and sisters and myself all pile into my van (roadtrip!) and go by the house. addellmondegren found the side gate latch and we went to the back yard. it gave me a chance to show them the garden(-in-shambles) and the back family room and master bedroom which are completely floor to ceiling glass walled in the back of the house.
i'd forgotten some of the features (or convinced myself i had forgotten them) and i was relieved to find that i still loved the place. sometimes when i first see a place i start seeing potential instead of reality and i get carried away, but this place is great. i just so hope we get it. the apartment is seriously closing in around us.
