author, divided against herself, cannot post

i've come across more and more blog-novels lately. most of them are good and even the ones that aren't so good impress me because of the shear nerve the authors had in publicly publishing their work in the first place.

so the question presents itself: should i post my novel? it's not finished, i don't know that it's all that wonderful (tho it is good), and (the biggest con) i may not ever finish it. on the other knee, it is mine, i made it, why shouldn't i post it.

second question follows: if i do post it, where do i post it? should i make it part of this journal, for all my friend/family list to see? should i make up an alt LJ account and post it there? or should i go to a completely different forum (like Google)?

answer: i would like to post my story. unfinished or not, here or elsewhere. i would like some feedback on this, friends. i know that i don't get too many comments usually, and certainly not from too many of you at a time, but i would really like it if, once you read this, you could just put your vote down. yes or no to post. here or elsewhere to do it. you can even comment anonymously if you like, just help me out.
