I've been trying to plan and buy Xmas presents for everyone. I think I've got the list down, now is just coming up with the money. Saru only wants food items, I might just get him a gift card; he can use the money more than anything. I had wanted to find the The sea is salty from the tears of misunderstood sharks but I can't find one that doesn't have the ending "that just want to cuddle". Pthhhhbb. No. So I guess I will go with a cuddly tuna (because of the can of tuna she insists no one else in the haus can have because it's her cuddling tuna). Her second gift will be opening her first bank account. Honey wants a skateboard and miscellaneous stuff. Fish wants Legos (of course). I figured I'd get the Kid a gift card too, he's been waaaaaaay up north at school, living with other students and he could always use money. He won't make it down until after New Years, so we can mail it to him.
I haven't asked for much for Xmas. I have my Amazon wishlist, but mostly I've said tattoos and garden statuary. Also I've hinted strongly in the past and complained straight out this year that I want a dark chocolate orange in my stocking. We'll see if i get one this year.
Thanksgiving will be up north at zdude's haus this year. Us, my kids, and my parents will be there. Saru is doing the menu and most of the cooking again this year, should be good.
