Also reading today (via TheBloggess), TheTattooTourist. Reading her blog makes me feel only slightly guilty that my tattoos aren't wanted for some higher, noble purpose.
My tattoos, like my blog, are a visualization for others to see (and to remind myself) that I am so much more than I show in my everyday life. One of my tattoos planned is simply the words, "These things I etch into me". The blog does, however, renew my determination to go to a real professional, let them come up with the art if I need to, and save up the money necessary. Perhaps I'll make it a reward for weight loss. A double win.
