Thanksgiving was great. zdude and the Kid came for dinner. Saru and I spent most of the day cooking while the other kids and I (mostly I) spent the rest of the time cleaning.
Wednesday night, for the added bonus of school credits, I taught Nan to pickle. We made pickled jalapenos and radishes. I plan to give them as Xmas presents. I didn't even realize until after we were done, but they are perfect for Xmas seeing as they are green and red.
This weekend will be a whirl: today was the Kid's bday, tomorrow is GRAB (feast event), and Sunday is a court personnel meeting. I'm trying to sew a flat cap for zdude (last minute, yes) by hand because I remembered my sewing machine, but forgot the power cord, and he needs it to go with his outfit at GRAB.
