Hey everybody. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I know I did. I did a whole Thanksgiving dinner, on my own (mostly) with help from the kids. Also they, zdude, and myself cleaned the heck out the house because, hey, that's what happens on the holidays (according to zdude) and also, I had my parents over for the holiday. It was wonderful and everything turned out wonderful. A big thanks to oldwolf for getting me into using the oven bags for the turkey, cause it turned out great! I cut up a white onion and a couple apples and stuffed the bird. I rubbed olive oil and sprinkled some Mrs. Dash on top, shoved the whole thing in the oven bag and cooked til the little button popped up. I was really happy with how it all turned out. There was egg nog and hot (and cold) cider during dinner and pie and wine afterwards, and lots of leftovers for today (tho not of pie since Fish thinks that pie makes a wonderful breakfast, eaten quickly, before anyone else gets up). I made turkey, mashed potato, corn and gravy fritatta this morning.
