Dichotomy of Me
I realize that naming my blog "The Dichotomy of Me" is a little hypocritical. I mean, the "dark", or more serious, side of me has its own blog. Yes, mostly that's to protect the identity of the people I talk about (and also because I am talking about them and they have access to, and knowledge of, this blog). I've thot vaguely of mixing the two (three if you count my pic-happy little SL blog, more if you count my vestigial efforts elsewhere) somewhere else, under a completely different name.
I've also thot of grabbing all my paper journals and adding them to the electronic mix to make something of an autobiography. The idea appeals to me, but only if it could be something that is guaranteed to be there when I'm old and done. Plus, Dreamwidth will automatically send backup journal entries to LJ or InsaneJournal, but not to multiple places, I don't think, and I don't think I can send from multiple places to Dreamwidth. It's an idea.
My blogs are windows to my life, and while I'm fairly open with my entries, I also have several very healthy dashes of paranoia mixed in so as I don't want actual factual details to be public. Ah, dichotomistic indeed.
