tossing and turning
weird night, full of strange nightmarish dreams. i was watching NCIS before bed with the older girls and after bedtime the cats (as per usual) were jumping on the beds and clawing at the sides and waking the baby so he jumped into my bed, so my dreams were a mix of terrorists, other terrorists in jail and cats. not a restful night at all - about par any night when my head might let me sleep, the cats won't.
Had a eye doctor appt on Monday. i was just trying to get an update on my prescription, because my glasses are several years old and i've been getting eyestrain headaches lately. turns out i need bifocals. ::waits for the snorfels and giggles to stop:: ok, then. the doctor said that they aren't just for old folk, he prescribes them to schoolkids too. and he didn't call them bifocals, he called them a double prescription, means the same thing i think. my current glasses are because i'm nearsighted, now i need either a pair for driving and a pair for reading/computer work or the two in one (which is what i'll probably get depending on price). ugh. i need more icon spaces, so i can spare one for "i can't see you!!" icon. i'll have to make one. i collect icons like my parents collect recorded tv shows.
