I've deleted my old journal. This is my new one.
I know I've submitted requests to some closed communities, and so the maintainers are probably checking out this journal, which looks suspiciously empty. I was a member under another username, which I don't want to share in an open post. I can completely understand if you choose to reject my request, either entirely or until this journal is more established.
On a more personal note, if you're an individual who's noticed this strange name popping up on your friends' list, the same is true. I had you friended on my previous lj account, before I deleted it. Deleting that old account wasn't an easy decision to make, but I eventually felt it was the only one I could make.
Somehow starting over doesn't feel as painful as I thought it would.
