How the mighty have fallen...health-wise

That's a four year streak of not being really sick being broken. Dangit. And just when I thought I was recovering - no more congested sinuses (YAY!) then I get whacked in the head with the imbalance created by the muffled right ear and now, the whole world is the whibbly wobbley timey whimey thing from Doctor Who, except it's in my head and it's no fun. The world is freaking FUZZY to me now, as in the lines aren't quite as sharp or defined as they should be...and weak as a kitten hits the spot ridiculously well. UGH. Is it possible that I feel worse during vacay than when I was working? (But those days were absurdly long too...hmm. Just kill me now or remove the offending appendage which is unfortunately my head, which contains the brain and is unfortunately necessary for processes like thinking. Can I not think for the rest of my life? Some people seem to do this fine...)

Actually, listening to music, I think it is because my right ear is still somewhat muffled. Yeaps, that's right, folks. The inner ear is responsible for balance and the feeling of nausea. Ask me how! It's really crazy when you hear about it the first time (pun intended) but I'm a living proof that it's true. Funny, those little tiny hairs are all that take to make you feel all funkaful. I'm not amused.

And Supernatural. Oh, show. Just when I just about count you out, you come out swinging with the last two episodes. Sure, you killed off a reoccurring female character in a semi-disturbing way (geez, Kripke and co. really have a problem with women and show said problem(s?) in reoccurring female characters. I've said it once, I'll say it again. Seriously, this show's got daddy problems AND female problems - not that kind!) Still, much kick arse of an episode and the last one aired was a V-day special. Ew. I'm sure Raoul the dragon enjoyed it. For the rest of us...that was really gross, but seeing our favorite angel made it so much better. Please use him better than having him show up for the first/last five minutes and having absolutely no idea what to do with him. I'm sure you can find better and more interesting ways to use an angel than having him pop in, pop out and have no freaking consequence on the rest of the hour (42 min)!

And oh! It's been confirmed. SPN's got its season 6! I'm not sure how to feel about this, but at least this makes more sense of the filter-crud we've been force-fed over the last couple of months - meaning the writers and producers had a backup plan because all that stuff about seeing Armageddon? Not really seeing a whole lot of it. Maybe 2-3 episodes that show/are relevant to it - tops. Still, where is this season going? We have 6 weeks to speculate since it's on hiatus. Again.

Again? I thought we just got off hiatus like 4 weeks ago.
Yip.
And we're going on again?
Yip.
(Stinky impersonation from HA!) That really bites.
...Yip.

slice of life, spn
