And the funny thing is that I'm ridiculously okay with that (for now.) Really, it's something crazy but the more I read, the more enthused I am about writing and in ways I haven't been in a long time. Damn, it feels good to feel the potential and beauty of writing like this and as what I'm reading/writing is about a fandom that I'm absolutely ga-ga about at the moment is the whipped cream on the cheesecake. Or pie. It's that good. And plus, the VMars music is still rolling on its wheels of destructive awesomeness.
For the bereft of VMars music, here's an imeem playlist with loads of songs, but you need to sign in to play it. Most of the times at least. Good, no GREAT fanfiction, awesome music to listen to, and an interview to get up at the crack of dawn for, which should be being prepared for...anywhoo...Back to fanfiction: I love you, authors, with your writing prowess and the ability to create imagines, emotions, and attachments between readers and characters, out of mere words. A good author makes you want to read again. A great one makes you ache and lost in awe at the loveliness, weep with the characters in their pain, and most of all, they make you think in ways--some as slight as a minor shift in perspective and others a whole new world for readers to explore--that are new. I applaud you. Bravo.
And on an unrelated topic: A hilarious and yet very thinky essay entitled: If Men Could Menstruate. Yep, my jaw dropped too. It's quite witty, oh what a ditty~!
