(no subject)
Wow, I did some research on The Piano, and I didn't know that the movie have a book that explained the movie in detail, including notes about something that was not in the movie! I want to find this book and read it! Well, esp. before I spend the $25 gift card on something else. I know I am missing a lot of info because I can't fully understand the movie without subtitles or explaination! By the way, I am sure that beautiful lady in the movie is a baby grand piano. I love how it looks, so elegant! That reminds me that I still want to learn to play that theme song of this movie on the piano. I guess with the gap between jobs in the summer break where I don't have anything to do, I should throw myself in a crazy hell of piano pratice, run some scales and classics and gain back all the piano skills I have 4 years ago. I totally need this so that I can finish learning to play X Japan's Longing and The Last Song, then start teaching myself to play Gackt's stuff. Josh Groban's Feburary Song also is one of the songs I want to be able to play, so is Juka's Fall of Leaves.
Now only if I can find a free computer program to take the piano track out of a song and give me a readable the notation. I actually tried it with some songs, that program I used gave me something obviously slam all the stuff from a full band into a scores that supposed to be a piano score but it's not doing a good job so I can't figure out exactly what notes to play. XD I guess I should forget those and try making a score for Dear White. XD From the easist songs this program can handle. XD
