There are no words to explain the... the utter devastation I felt at the result this morning.

From the high of being at the polling station and hearing about the record turn outs across the country, to the first announcement from Clackmannanshire and just knowing it wasn't going to be our night... to this morning and seeing the final count.

Im not going to be a good loser. Because I hate it, and I am angry. Angry at the breakdown of the voting - the 65+ age group voted 73% No. Every age group under 55 years voted yes. I know it's a horrible thing to say but the 65+ age group voted for a future they're not going to be part of, based on a history that ruined their country because they were terrified by the standard media.

I will not let this change my views on Independence. We are going to get it one day. We just need to unite and stand behind our our party, do what's right for Scotland when the time comes.

We have an election in 2015. I just hope that the people that turned out to vote turn out in droves next year too.

Take today to lick the wounds - I know they hurt.

We'll get there.
