I have a few other things I could update about, but that will have to wait till later. I found out that a girl I went to college with died in a car accident in December. Her name was Hwa-Hsiu "Koko" Shu. She was only at Ohio Wesleyan for our freshman year, then transferred to the University of Pittsburgh (her hometown). I hadn't talked to her in years, but I remember her well. Koko Shu! Hehe, she was crazy and funny and wore nothing but athletic type clothes - t-shirts and track pants and adidas sandals and crap like that. Once, we put her in some of Theresa's girly clothes and slapped some make-up on her face. Someone said, "Koko! You really are a girl!" Hahahahaha... She made me an honorary Asian once, too. A bunch of us were hanging out in my suite, and all of a sudden someone commented (might've been Koko, actually) that I was the only white person there. Koko was from Taiwan...Theresa from Korea...Uru from India...might've been a couple of other people, too... So Koko asked me some questions about Asia, and when I answered correctly, she said that I passed and was cool enough and could now be considered an honorary Asian. Never did get my card for that, though. :-p
I have some pictures of her somewhere.... I'll have to find those, try to put them in here. In the meantime, here's the article about the car accident, for anyone interested...

We may not have been very close, or known each other long, but you helped make my first year at OWU such a great one. My memories of you will always be ones of laughter and of fun, of the crazy, outgoing, tomboy model. :-)
