I must admit, I'm not in much of an updatin' mood at the moment. But I'm hoping that'll change once I get into recapping. And amazingly enough, I actually have some stuff to recap. Whoa. Anyway, I went to the Company's open dress rehearsal of 'Of Widows and Vegetables' on Friday. That was a good time. I really enjoyed the show and thought they all did a great job. It wasn't too surprising to find out they won some awards at prelims and are moving on to semis. Johnna came with me to see the show, so that was cool. I didn't realize till after a few minutes that we were sitting just a couple rows behind Klein and Charles and Becky. I didn't get a chance to talk to any of them for very long, but it was good to see them all nonetheless. It was a mini Crane Beach reunion, hehe. After the show, I spoke with Jess Viator for a little while, and got to say hi to and get a hug from Mrs. Faust. That was nice. She has remained one of my all-time favorite teachers, so it's nice to know she remembers me, too. I also got a chance to say a quick hello to Katie, thought it was cut short, since Faust had notes and things to go over with the cast and crew. And Johnna and I were both starving, and didn't know how long things would take, so we cut out of there and headed to Friday's for dinner.

Saturday was supposed to be a day off of work (as was Friday, originally), but one of the other keyholders is having some health problems, so I said I could take her shift and open Saturday morning. It wasn't too bad, actually. Kristi was there, so I wasn't all alone. And I got to leave early. Adam was home that day, and of course, since the sun was shining and temperatures were relatively mild, we took a little ride in the Mini - top down, yes yes. Ohhhh man, that is a sweet ride. Still can't wait to drive it, muwahahaaa.

Apparently I was in serious need of sleep, because I didn't get out of bed till just after 1pm on Sunday. That hasn't happened in a loooong time. I'm usually up by 11am at the latest. But it was a day off, and I'd just worked six days in a row, so I didn't feel to bad about it, haha. Johnna called later that afternoon, desperate to get out of her house. So, I picked her up and we headed to Norwood to visit Adam. She hadn't seen his new place or his new car yet, and of course, I was game for a mini roadtrip. We got pizza, watched 'Harold and Kumar' (which I liked; it was funny), watched some TV... It was a quiet night, but I enjoyed it. Hanging out somewhere other than my house was kinda nice, too.

Today was also a good day. Johnna and I hung out again - this time it was the movies and some shopping. 'Finding Neverland' wasn't playing for some reason, so we saw 'In Good Company' instead. I rather enjoyed it. It was funny and touching and had real characters. I'd recommend it. Ate at Panera for lunch...mmmmm...I haven't been to one in a while. Good stuff. Then we wandered Northshore for a bit, bought some things, got some chocolate from Godiva, and headed home. She had to be back in time to watch '24' and take a phone call from a certain someone, tee hee. :-P

And that's about it. Though looking back at the entry, that is way more than enough. Sorry, folks, didn't mean to take up so much space.
