My mom is having car trouble again. Her van has been in and out of the car dealership shop for about to months now. They have put in an entirely new cooling system (for over $900) and it still does not work. It over heated right before we went over the high rise coming out of New Orleans today. We were able to catch it before it started smoking or blew up, but it still had to be towed. We were at the only gas station in New Orleans East that is open right now. It was kinda scary. We could have just unloaded and car and left it there and someone would have taken it within the hour. It's a good thing a friend was in New Orleans at the time and was able to drive us home. I am just so mad right now. The car is almost 8 years old and only has 61,000 miles on it. The people in the dealership shop aren't fixing the problem at all, and now my mom is without a car again. Assholes piss me off.

Yeah, I know. How can I be pissed and mellow at the same time? Well, I'm pissed about my mom's car and mellow about everything else.^_^
Today went really well (before my mom's car). I was able to get the bus full of kids from Florida to Metairie without a problem. We unloaded and the work flew by. We were able to get everything done that needed to be done today. The kids were good too. Most of them worked hard, but you know there's always a few in every group who do nothing. What we did today with the kids is what would have taken us all next week to do without interruptions. What we did was unloaded beds that were stored, cleaned and pressure washed them outside, and then rolled them inside. We also cleaned a lot of other stuff and moved stuff around. I got sunburned. All in all, it was a nice hardworking day. I'm exhausted.
After we got home (after my mom's car) we ate at Ryan's!! Yay!! I'm so stuffed right now I can't move. But the meanies had the ice cream machine off, so I couldn't get any ice cream. However, I had all the rolls and honey butter I could stand. I hadn't been in since they reopened and I have to say that all the renovations were crap. I don't like the changes they made to the building or how you eat. The food is the same, but the inside is all different.
