i'm really excited beacuse i've recently discovered several sanctuaries...though none are kitchenettes. one is the top of my playhouse i.e. a treehouse essentially. two is in the bamboo forest down by our vegetable garden...because our bamboo is now really tall and creates a little dappled-sunlight forest ring of asian-ish magnificence. three is our woods. and the lovely paths and foresty goodness all around. must have a pirate adventure there. four is the elaw office which is in its own bamboo haven and contains a lovely bunch of scientists, lawyers, and jolly good people including kate and rebekkah. five was the futon bed of ultimate comfort and lovliness that i created in the living room, but now i'm forced to sleep in my room again and it's a bit too messy to be a sanctuary...maybe witha bit of sprucing up and art-making and tea...mmm. the more sanctuaries the more possibilities for beauty, safety, and comfort when the world is too much...when you just feel like being elsewhere for a bit tho' the world's still dandy.
