Letter to: James Campbell: 8/5/12
[Written on a sheet of plain, white printer paper in pencil and folded neatly in a lavender greeting card envelope. Included in the envelope is a cartoony drawing in pencil of what appears to be a ghostly young girl with floating, cloud-like hair. From the waist up, Nephele looks like she's wearing some kind of nightgown. Below the waist, Nephele's body morphs into something resembling a large, fluffy cloud. Nephele isn't wearing any kind of accessories or jewelry. The drawing is folded neatly into fourths. There is also a wallet-sized copy of Lillian's school picture from her sophomore year. Her hair is down and wavier than usual and she's wearing her school uniform. Though she's smiling in the photograph, it looks slightly forced and her eyes are a little sad.]
