So this weekend I got very little sleep, stood for several hours in the rain waiting to hear Obama, walked all over DC in shoes with no support, and hauled heavy tables and chairs around for Fiesta DC setup. The end result is that I have a slight cold and my muscles are super sore.  In other words, I feel like shit because my body is like, “Bitch!

But wasn't Obama so worth it?! I just left a note on Jenny's livejournal about how when you see him in person he has a golden aura. It's really weird.

I tried to find you after the speech but it was such a clusterfuck that I couldn't. :(

Oh absolutely worth it, haha! Sorry I missed you! We'll have to get together for tea next time I'm down. I'm not sure when that might be, but I at least know I'll be there for Taste of Asia November 14th. :)
