I am fucking angry.
The day someone calls work and the man himself, Hayao Miyazaki, queer, is the day that I am very pissed off person. Deans, queens, pals, and gals - that day was today.
Lex called Hayao Miyazaki and his works queer. A man, at the age of 69, was called queer. Someone who holds the honor of being the first Japanese Animation director to have his works acknowleged by the Academy as the Best Animated Feature for the year of 2002 - was called a queer. I don't know about the other otakus out there, or anyone who has a sense of artistic mind to appreciate the works of this man... but I am pissed when someone calls Miyzaki a queer. There. I'm done.
