Black Swan
Just finished from watching this movie and all I can say is that it's amazing. It really screwes with the mind. It made some simple normal, everyday things very terrifying to see. I thought that the acting and the story was amazing, I love Natalie Portman so much more after this movie, she is truly amazing. Most of the film was left guessing as to what was real and what was in the mind of Nina, the protagonist, and from what I saw, the girl needs to be locked up in a white padded cell. I enjoyed the play of having Nina as the white swan Odette and than having Lily to offset her as the Black Swan, Odille, while the whole time it was really another part of herself that she did not have a courage to face and so broke her, thought your mileage may very. It was scary, creepy, funny at unexpected times and kinda made me not want to watch the actual ballet for Swan Lake, it's really dark. But all in all I can completely say I was awed and I really enjoyed the movie, probably gonna get it on DVD when it comes out.
