So this is like the doll I've been longing to make, and finally she's here. I totally should have took photos for the steps but I was so into it that I forgot to take them. She's made with wooden beads and buttons to be posable. There is a wire in the neck only. It worked out kinda well but not as steady as I hoped to be. Oh well, it was an experience and next time I'll get it better.
Behold, the blond girl.
It's blond, right?! hehe! I wanted her to be wearing something really simple so came up with this outfit. As I'm so in love with sports shoes I made her wear one. That thing in her neck in actually my hand accessory! Yup, that's how we get creative. I finished almost half of the thread I used for her hear, which I made it on a ruler by the way. Take a look ...
To make a doll hair you should use a book or anything of that sort but since she has a short one and she's a small doll herself I made it on this. It was a new experience as well, most importantly it turned out super great. Here's a pose waving at you all ...
Lol! Look at her legs! I even made a thigh gap from all the workouts I did for it! Didn't do it on purpose though, I just didn't know the distance I had to put in that area to make the legs move. I thought the bigger the better and this is what I ended up with. Not bad, no!? And since I don't want her standing all the time, I made an armchair for her! Hehe! I'm so considering!
I was hesitating at first that it won't turn out right, true the edges are a bit messy but the over all result is quite pleasing. I think I'll make more. I found the tutorial over youtube, if I do all of them I'll end up with a doll house that I always wanted as a kid but never had one!
Check out her thin legs people! Aren't they fit or what!? Lol!
