Still house-sitting and I had a slightly awkward conversation with my Uncle who's still in town. It wasn't the subject matter, just the fact that he came over. I know it sounds bad but he and I don't talk on a regular basis, he's notoriously quiet, and I felt bad that he would drive 30 min. to visit and leave a little less than an hour later. We talked about the weather, of all things, and vacation spots, which wasn't so bad.
My Aunt and Uncle are coming back from Alaska in a couple of days and I'm pretty sure that they're the ones who suggested the unexpected family visit. I know they worry but I'm very much used to being left to my own devices.
