(no subject)
because i'm up late (10pm!) and am actually enjoying being on the computer, i thought i'd post something on this old journal of mine. we've had houseguests like crazy over the past few months. jet blue flying from nyc to austin is bringing our friends to us in hordes! this does not boast well for my diet or wallet. with every out-of-towner we eat the mandatory bbq, shoot the mandatory pistols at the firing range, and drink the mandatory shiners at the obscure texas drinking holes. our new house has proved itself guest friendly and i'm so in love with the master bathroom (poop privacy!). work is going well and i continue to lunch with the husbot daily. he's still loving school lunch and has made friends with the cafeteria ladies. we're thinking of making a baby in the upcoming months although our financial health isn't looking too good. that and i still haven't started on the folic acid. i have yet to start our veggie garden but i guess that's a good thing considering there is a freeze warning tonight. texas weather never ceases to amaze me. last week we were swimming at barton springs, this morning i was wearing my knitted tie.
