(no subject)
The Guarneri concert was last night. I didn't have that much trouble getting up Lookout, the drive itself is easier for me than Signal, but the altitude is heck. I ran into a lot of kids from YO, Mr Hoffecker, and two of my friends from music camp! It made me sooo happy to see them again. They're from Cincinnati and Pittsburgh and they go to UT, but i haven't seen them since i left Vermont. The Guarneri Quartet was amazing, but it wasn't really my style. I've seen enough old white guys play. I'm more into younger more diverse groups personally even if they're not as well known. THat's why i'm really really excited about the Ahn Trio coming in November. They've been one of my faves since like middle school.
The ACT was today. I got into trouble when people found out that's why i wasn't at church. I feel bad... but i did what i thought i should have done. I'm re-registering for the SAT as a standby for the Sunday test. But the test today was okay. English was easy. So was reading and science, but i didn't have time to finish. Math was heck like it usually is... but at least i tried. It was too funny, we were running late and gray almost killed us both... and two deer trying to get there on time. i don't know why everytime i go with gray anywhere i end up in a sketchy town with some sketchy guy in a pickup. lol.
It's kinda weird. i feel like i'm starting to outgrow a lot of the people i thought i was on the same page with. I don't feel like that with most of my school people like charli, rica, or gray... but it's weird. it seems like we used to be the same age, now they're all little kids and i don't like being around them as much because they're where i was last year.
anyway, i need to get some sleep this weekend.
and kids, don't drink and dial. it's dangerous.
