Life updates...
So, my apartment lease expires next month.
I wanted to stay in this community, but I had a nagging feeling that I needed to move.
And today, I had a random urge prompting me that I should upgrade to a larger apartment.
I went on a whim and talked to my leasing manager this afternoon.
And...
I signed a new lease for a 2-bedroom-1-bathroom unit...!
(I currently live in a 1-bedroom-1-bathroom unit.)
I'm going to have one room dedicated to my cosplay stuff. I'm so excited. <3 <3 <3
It may not be the most opportune time to move (summer heat, preparation for D*C, new deadline for another freelance project, etc), but I thought it was now or never.
Speaking of D*C, I'm actually going to fly to Atlanta this time... plane tickets are pretty cheap at the moment.
I went ahead and purchased the tickets now, so, I'm pretty much all set to go. =)
I'm happy that I got another freelance project. I definitely appreciate the extra income. But I'm also kinda dreading it, because I know it will interfere with my sleep scheduling. It's sad that it's becoming painfully evident that I'm getting too old to push myself too hard. (T-T
I've been trying to get more exercise recently, too. My boss had sold me on purchasing a Wii + Wii Fit Plus/Balance Board bundle, and I've been trying to work on it as often as I can remember.
But again, I'm getting too old to lose weight without starving myself... (T____T I hate having a gut. I hate having a pear-shaped body. I hate being 5 feet tall and 115 lbs. (Goal weight is 112 for now; eventually I want to slim back down to 110. I used to be 103 lbs at my skinniest!!) I wanna look HOT when I wear my Sheryl and Revy outfits, darn it! >.<;;;;; A gut and thick thighs/calves are NOT sexy. (;___; If only I were top-heavy... man, what I would do to be top-heavy, rather than bottom-heavy...
ugh, sorry for the rant. It's just...frustrating to exercise every day and see no results.
I need to be more patient.
