Originally uploaded by Aztek721 Dragoncon was a blast this year, as always, even with all the drama, before, during, and after. I'm not even gonna go there.
I barely took *any* photos at the con, even though I got an extra memory card (1 gig) just for that. Go figure.
The zoo was lovely, although it seemed smaller than I expected.
I also kept getting deja vu, but I think it's because the exhibits were similar in design to the San Diego Zoo.
The Botanical Gardens, though, took my breath away. They had a huge orchid display with dozens of varieties, and enough different flowers that I would have loved to stay longer...but I had a plane to catch.
The water lillies especially fascinated me. I've always wanted photos of them. :)
