Short Updates!
Short updates! because it's 2:30 what am i doing up
1. I have a tumblr. It is here. This is relevant because it's quickly filling up with headcanon related to Bill (and Lanette!), fun things about me, and shit Mia my followers say.
1a. I have a will-answer-every-ask policy. This is a dangerous thing, but if you've always wanted to say things to me anonymously, there's your chance.
1b. Unless you're Mia submitting a picture of Bill with boobs or in a dress.
1c. Again.
1d. Unless it's hot.
2. I'm thinking about making public posts about the Old Gods on le tumblr. Because I'm too lazy to construct anything in-depth (as in, a game or a full-on fic), but I have these amazing scene snippets involving magical girls the Aura Heroes reawakening in the present. I'd love to flesh out this AU, but yeah.
3. An affiliate request (that I need to respond to eventually) and looking at Altered Origins (and its pretty, pretty layouts) have reminded me yet again that I need to revamp Studio Revolution. This is mostly for me, but I will tell you right now that I'm reformatting the navigation system. As in, cutting out a shitton of pages that are frankly not necessary. (The headcanon stuff for the most part, for example.) I'm also dropping the Fandex (which never crossed into the new iteration of The BBS), merging the AEM pages (in part because [CLASSIFIED] -- the other tumblr I run -- is basically now the backstory blog), and maybe dropping the collective/merging it with the about page. Still have to refine things, but most importantly, I want the site to be somewhat pretty. Ergo, to Photoshop with me, I guess.
3b. Also! I'll probably make full use/abuse of Wordpress as the Kelly I know in real life has suggested because I've discovered (via Phoenix) that it can be used for uploading fic, and it'd be nice to have my fic archived on my website too.
3c. ...And I might also be dropping the link to The BBS due to a lack of interest/the fact that it's basically an autonomous community. But that's for another drama-filled post. *Kanye shrug*
4. Speaking of things that I am dropping, I'm thinking of migrating Anima Ex Machina over to AO3/my site and discontinuing its update thread on Serebii. I don't know. Either way, I just haven't really felt motivated to add to it. Yeah, I still like the story and love the people who follow it, but... *shrug* I'm thinking about going on a hiatus after I post the next chapter (which I'm hoping will be soon, although I've started working on it from the ground up again) to do the review blitz, and maybe while I'm there, I'll actually get the motivation to continue. Either way, yeah, I just haven't really been into forums lately. I sort of miss fanfic communities like Fanfiction.net, but I know I won't really like being on FFNet again because that's completely different from where it was in 2003 too. AO3's at least got sane people on it, but I'm kinda looking for a community. That's not a forum. Or FFNet. Which I guess means I'm overly critical of every corner of this fandom. (On the other hand, I'm getting more into journaling. Tumblr's a lot more fun than I thought it'd be, and I actually have people who like the stuff I create myself. Evidently, this is the best way to attract Bill fans. And also, I've taken over the Masaki Sonezaki tag. It is mine. Like small European countries were to Napoleonic France.)
5. Speaking of Tumblr tags, I am now one of those people eagerly awaiting Miraculous Ladybug. Because magical girls. In Paris! With good luck powers! And a mime for a villain! And FELIX OMG.
5a. ...Why am I gay except when it comes to animated men? How the fuck does this even work? Is it just that the cartoon men I like are so androgynous it doesn't even matter? Because I look at those thigh-high boots Felix has got going on, and I can see how it wouldn't matter. Oh bby, hop those rooftops in that leather.
5b. On the other hand, I think we've established the complexities of my interest in people when it comes to Europeans (the French) already, animated or not.
5c. The English can come too. And the Scottish.
6. Things that are also pretty and something that I'm looking forward to: Urbance. But I really, really hope it's just not Romeo and Juliet on an LSD/ecstasy cocktail. Because oh my god that is pretty but I swear to god if someone else abuses that story...
7. Requests are underway! \o/ Please contact me if you've seen that mysterious post that I am referring to vaguely right now and would like to submit a request. The line is still open!
8. And I totally didn't forget about Mary Sue Must Die for months either. But I did. And I've got nothing. Idk, I just haven't really been in the mood to write much lately except short fics. And maybe this original idea that I've been working on oh-so secretly.
