My to-do list for this weekend:
1. Applications! Last weekend for some of them. Might send off a couple others I'd skipped.
2. Schoolwork, including:
- 2a. Manuscript needs to be read; reader's report needs to be done. All of this due April 4. About 70% finished with reading. It's easy going, at least, because this manuscript isn't full of "LOL LET'S THROW IN RANDOM SEX AND DEPRESSION FOR NO REASON." As a side note, I normally don't care what people write so long as I'm not forced to read it for a grade. I incidentally had an awesome talk with a professor about this. Genuinely awesome, I mean.
- 2b. Article for Magazine Pub Overview. A 500-word review on pans. Yes, really. Due April 19.
- 2c. Production packet, including flat plan, content plan, production guidelines, and distribution plan, due April 19.
- 2d. Scheduling for fall semester on April 2, probably complete with fighting for financial aid (again).
3. ~*~CONBUST~*~. Heading westward for two full days of peace, love, and geeks. Leaving Saturday morning and coming back Sunday evening, and in the meantime, there will be plenty of pics (that will be posted here), dancing, and oh yeah, I need to interview one of the guests. And solicit the other for contact info. For science a grade. It's awesome being in an MA program, guys. You get excuses to go to conventions and everything.
4. Friday night, hosting an event between the publishing and writing campus clubs. There will be booze involved. When I'm not on-duty.
5. Fanfic stuff! Proofing AEM 16 to be released (finally) on FFNet, writing the first chapter of Mary Sue Must Die, toying with ideas for AEM 27. It's all good.
6. Internship stuff. Technically not due right away, but I'd like to get a head start on it.
7. Remember that Sailor Moon Project thing I was doing? Yeah, next episode's probably coming Monday, considering I've finally caught up with my work.
That said, if I don't respond to comments and whatnot, I love you all, and I'm totally not avoiding you. I'm just going to be "LOL WHAT WEEKEND" for this entire weekend.
On the positive side, I finally did my schedule for summer, and due to financial aid lulz (read: they're paying me $2000 less than what I need to have eight credits per semester), I've only marked myself down for an internship. Which means I'm also most likely going to look for a job. Or at least have massive amounts of free time this summer. Yay!
