Oh, it's that weird time of the night again.
Negative: This is what I have to do this month.
- 10-page research paper due in two weeks (which, by the way, was only organized this week) on satirical magazines.
- 1-page research paper due in two weeks on a university press.
- 1 production plan due in two weeks (coordinated with a partner)
- 1-page article pitch letter for workshopping in three weeks
- 1-page article pitch letter sent to editorial team of hypothetical magazine staff in three weeks
- Article in four weeks
- Cover letters to six prospective employees for summer internships due immediately, one of which requires a 5-page writing sample
- Revision of feature article due April 1
- 1 interview with a literary agent, coupled with a 4-page summary of findings due in three weeks
- 1 meeting with the Graduate Student Association on the 24th, double-booked with a short address to prospective graduate students of the publishing organization
- Meeting with a professor on the 26th
- Negotiate with internship coordinator over credits for summer internship, assuming I even get interviewed
- 2nd 200+-page manuscript to read by April 4
- Company coming 18th to 20th; apartment needs to be cleaned
- Oh, and I probably should do things that would eventually pay for my rent this month. Or at least for my monthly subway pass.

Luckily, spring break starts today. And by that, I mean, "stretch of two weeks in which I sleep four hours a day, barely eat, write, and do shittons of research."
On the positive side, what am I doing when I'm not quietly having several mental breakdowns?

Also, yes, I'm totally doing this signed-in. So you will see cracky/questionable fills from me all month long over at the LJ kink meme, and I will probably cross-post everything I do. (I am, for example, trawling the unfilled prompts as we speak.)
Also also, actually finished with that beta I keep failing to finish on time, and when I'm not writing for dirty things, I'll probably be writing for AEM 26 (which is nowhere near completion), that Sue fic, the comic script... actually, why do I not have any semblance of sanity right now?
No, I haven't forgotten about the Sailor Moon project, either. I just have it on hold right now because Jesus.
And for the second time in almost two weeks, I had a dream about Sherlock Holmes again. This time, the Basil Rathbone one. I won't go into too many details, but it involved having him as a stepdad and the two of us failing to save a half a train full of people.
You know, Jax, normal people just have wet dreams about the fictional characters they like.
