(no subject)
The last few days have been very well spent. After mum and dad left on sunday, jonno came around and he's stayed over most nights since then. I can't tell you what a comfort it's been. We've talked about everything...and strangely enough, he brought up the subject of having kids =S The reason he said anything about it is because we were talking about uni and he said if we both earned doctorates then our kids would be nerds but they'd have no decision making abilities whatsoever coz it takes both of us forever to decide on the simplest of things. I thought it was sweet and it's nice to know he's thinking of our future like that and not as an uncertainty.
Last night after work everyone had to wait until 1am to find out if we'd been offered places at a university...i logged onto QTAC at 5 to 1 and i couldnt beleive what i saw - i've been accepted into Griffith - my FIRST preference! I think i gave the dog a heart attack, i screamed so loud.
I rang jonno (he'd told me to as soon as i found out) and he's been accepted into his first preference too!
I'm still in a state of shock. Everyone and anyone rang me today to say congratulations. I dont understand why they picked me...i didnt even get the right OP =S
God i'm so happy - this takes off so much pressure. Now i dont have to worry about driving for so long just to get to university.
