No mention of the flu vaccine being the cause of the miracle so far, so I'm thinking it may not be coming. Drat. I was hoping for social commentary on that score.
Also, I was singularly unimpressed by the Blessing. I'm fairly certain that the thingies flying into the giant vagina in the center of the Earth are bits of Jack's blood (hence why his blood rolls on the ground in Shanghai, instead of just sitting there all passive-like). And if so, I'm betting Jack is going to feel the need to jump in, in order to stop the Miracle from continuing.
Oh, the irony, of Jack jumping into a giant vagina. THERE ARE NO WORDS.
Apart from that, I spent a great deal of the episode wondering if I'd missed a week. How exactly did Jack smuggle Oswald Danes into the UK, particularly since last we saw, Jack was comatose in the back of Esther's SUV and Oswald wasn't even in contact with him? (Or maybe it wasn't Jack who smuggled in Oswald. Could someone enlighten me on that plot point?) Why has it been two months since everyone's return to the UK, and Anwen hasn't aged more than a week? And when will people start giving Rory Rhys credit? And on a side note, why are husbands always largely seen as Incidental To The Plot in the Torwchood/Doctor Who universe? Could this be the real reason Jack doesn't want to commit to anyone?

Egad, Marnie turned out evil, and Antonia's the sensible one. Didn't see that coming. I think I like it, even if it wasn't very well set up in the beginning.
I do think it's interesting that for once, Tara isn't going to lose her new-found love interest in the season finale. But because of that, I'm worried that Lafayette may have inherited Tara's mantle of Worst Girlfriend Ever, and that Jesus is toast. Which is sad, because I like Jesus.
I feel like this must be said, however: for the most part, I like the television show's characterizations better than in the books. I love that we get to spend time developing Jason and Tara, and I really like that Arlene isn't a crack-pot.
That said. Sookie/Eric/Bill? No. Please, no. It's not that I'm opposed to OT3 in principle (hello, Doctor/Rose/Jack), it's that Bill is a lying scumbag who was on a mission to seduce Sookie in order to scavenge for information for the queen he was hoping to depose, so the fact that he fell in love with her is only incidental at best considering he didn't want to come clean about his original intentions when he figured out how much Sookie meant to him.
Dear Sookie,
NO, YOU DON'T GET THEM BOTH. Don't be greedy. Share.
No love,
Me

Haven't seen the recent Doctor Who episode; Bill still needs to see Let's Kill Hitler, and then we'll watch it together. I'm hoping for the end of the week.
