Round Three voting is open at drabble_las - there's only 18 drabbles this week, which you can find here. A very wide range of subjects this time around: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Batman, Brokeback Mountain - heck, even the Pixar movie Wall-e is represented. There's also three original drabbles at the end. Read, vote, etc.

*drooooooooooooooooooooool* It's a good thing I was already planning on making cake this weekend! (though my chocolate cake is easier--only four ingredients! No frosting though)

I'm glad you got something in :) I don't know about you, but I found voting very difficult this week. Almost nothing impressed me the way particular entries did in the first two weeks.

There were two I really liked, and two I really didn't - so that was my only difficulty. I still think the first one that won in Round One is the best, though.

OMG that cake. I think I gained 10 pounds just staring at it (and yes, drooling). WOW. *wants*. Definitely saving this recipe! Thank you.

As for drabblelas. My entry JUST made it in I think. I sent it at like 4:57 after realizing at 4:40 that it was due in 20 minutes and I hadn't written it yet. Whoops.

It's way good cake; I never even bother with other recipes anymore. Do you want the custard recipe, too? It's not hard, but the book's heavy and I'm lazy. :)

Oh, don't tell me you wrote your drabble in 17 minutes. It really did take me three weeks to come up with a half decent idea. I have about three false starts on my hard drive which will never see the light of day!

It looks amazing! YES! Please send the custard recipe! I'd love that. Next time I have to bake a cake I'm baking this one.

Ummmm *looks shifty* I might have? But of course that most likely means it's complete crap. We'll see if anyone likes it this time around. Hopefully the results will be posted quickly. I only just posted my second entry on my lj... LOL
