Rose rested her eyes on Dex and the captain, and wondered what they would find at Hatfield House.

My money’s on a red-headed firebrand named Elizabeth ;)

The Doctor’s not going to like this much, is he? :D

You have obviously been doing your Elizabethan England homework. :)

The Doctor’s not going to like this much, is he?

Oh, he's going to be thrilled. Just thrilled. *grin*

I suppose if I was a little boy with access to the TARDIS, I'd go looking for dragons and Panyards, too.

Well, really, why wouldn't you? I think the only question is why it took Dex four years to do it himself!

Well there is a dragon there, a red firey dragon by the name of Elizabeth. Now perhaps we will finally find out about the mysterious Jamie?

Maaaaayyyyybe...you've all been very clever so far, I have no doubt you'll pick up on it before the rest of them do. :)

Jamie's gotta be the kid from WWII.

No?

You're right, Jamie is the kid from WWII. I think nattieb actually meant "Janie", the mysterious companion Elizabeth references in C&C. Totally different character, I'll tell you that much.

But nothing else, for I am EVIL. Mwahahahahahaha.

Wow. Rose opens the TARDIS door & goes out into unknown woods on a planet she just assumes is Earth, with her small boy in tow and the Doctor asleep. Considering that Rose is the sensible one, I'm surprised. As a mother, I'm appalled!

Hmm. A very good point - she does sort of leap out there in to the great unknown, doesn't she? I think her only excuse is that she (a) jeopardy friendly, a fact of which has not been altered by motherhood nor nanogenes, and (b) is really really REALLY anxious to explore somewhere new, because since the kids were born, the Doctor really hasn't taken them anywhere new. You know, what with unknown places wanting to kill/kidnap one or the other of them, and all.

So Dex bringing them somewhere new is just as exciting for Rose as it is for him.

(But yeah. She could have at least checked the control panel to make sure they were actually on Earth.)

Hatfield, eh? Well, maybe young+in-trouble Elizabeth will be a little nicer than older+queenly Elizabeth. Hopefully. The Doctor's sure not going to be happy about this...

*whistles*

"Ecstatic" does not even BEGIN to cover how the Doctor will feel about this turn of events. No, really. It doesn't. Not even close. :)
