And in other news, Bill was in a meeting yesterday with someone who has since tested positive for Covid-19. So he's under a two-week quarantine to see if he develops symptoms, though the kids and I are technically not. (Which just doesn't seem quite right. If Bill was exposed, therefore we may also have been exposed by association, no?)
The crappy part is that after Bill came home with the news, Charlie kept trying to escape to play with his friends. The street has been loud as anything with kids playing outside all day - it's been a good day for it - and it's going to be hell trying to keep him over the next two weeks when everyone is out of school. Andrew won't be so bad, he can be something of an introvert at times. But Charlie? He loves him his people. And he's only five - he's not going to understand why he can't go outside and play when he feels perfectly well, let alone when Daddy also feels perfectly well.
...Then again, Andrew just came in here on his way to bed, and is completely indignant over the idea that he can't go outside to play tomorrow. So maybe he's going to be just as difficult as his brother is sure to be.
So yeah. Not exactly a fun fortnight ahead....
