seafood and sunshine
Today is the last day of school for the term, and I have a major assessment on today. One theory exam, then one 4 hour practical exam. ALL ON SEAFOOD. I don't like seafood! So if I nail today I will be extremely self satisfied.... apologies in advance for those who experience my radiating smugness should this occur ;)
I have to clean a whole Trevally, (those things are massive), cut cutlets and fillet the thing perfectly. Turn the bones into stock, and
then from the flesh I have to make fish Quenelles with a tarragon beurre blanc, 2 grilled darne with lemon butter sauce, and finally prawns with zucchini, chilli, ginger and coriander.
The weather report for the next week has me extremely excited, and I'll spend Sunday in the garden putting in a big vegetable patch. I even hired some books from the library on vegie patches I'm that keen. :p
