Serious stuff and Funny stuff...

The serious....

I am SOOOOOOO damn sick of how annoyingly PC Australia has become. People are more interested in being politically correct than dealing with truth and reality. I have two examples of this that partiularly bug  me at the moment.

1/ The whole Free David Hicks BS is driving me nuts. I mean guys...the man is a f*cking terrorist. That alone should wipe out his basic civil rights imo. Did he care about any of the people that he and his comrades killed (or had a hand in killing)?? No. I doubt he did. I could go on and on and on about this....but I won't. I'm at work and don't have time. I will say this though.... Why doesn't the press call him by his 'real' name Mahommed Dawood?? I'll tell you why....because if they did he wouldn't get the same level of sympathy that he does now if is Muslim name was used over his Western name. Legally...he is not even David Hicks anymore....so drop it already. Geez.... And one last thing....Dick Smith....the untimate PC ignorant do-gooder just donated $60k to the Free David Hicks fund. Wtf??? Why doesn't he go and donate the same to the Bali bombers legal aid. I mean.....God!!!

2/ A muslim man successfully sued the Government Prison system for over $20k the other day after claiming that he was not given appetizing Halal food choices whilst in prison. He was apparently only given canned Halal food. Mind you....this disgusting little f*cker was in goal for raping children....so where were his good Muslim values when he was off doing crap like that??? Damn hypocrite. And damn political correctness letting him get away with it!!! Last time I knew you didn't go to goal to be given 5 star a-la-carte dining options!! So not only do us taxpayers have to pay for his goal term, we have to pay compentsation for this ridiculous claim!! With what he did to those poor children, he doesn't deserve to breathe our air let alone sue for not getting the food he wants. Insanity!!! Society has gone mad!!!!

Intersestigly and ridiculously enough....the same day I heard about this I was listening to 2UE talk back in the morning and victims were talking about how little compensation they can now receive for permanent disability. The father of one 36 year old victim called and said that his son was made permanently disabled at work and only received $17k (or somehting like that), in compensation. The man can no longer work, has to live with his parents, is on a disability pension and is likely to be on one for the rest of his life. Yet the f*cker I mentioned above gets $20k for not liking the food he was given in prison??!!! Stories like this make my blood boil.

Now for the funny stuff....

On Friday I left my purse at home. Simon had dropped me at work that morning and to cut a long story short...he had to turn around and come back to give me some money because I didn't have a cent on me.

That afternoon....we had some drinks after work. I had one. That's all.

Simon picked me up from work and drove us to his house. Arielle and I stayed a little while before I had to drive home. Simon was going to bring my wallet with him so that I'd have my license for my trip home....but he forgot.

On the way home...I got stopped for an RBT. I knew I'd be way under the limit, (it was over an hour and a half since my one drink), but I was hoping I wouldn't be asked to show my license. I'd been RBT'd several time before and never asked to show it before....

Sure enough...my breath test was fine...didn't show any alcohol at all but the cop did ask to see my license. I told him the story and he told me he was in a  good mood and let me off. Thank God!!! Arielle being cute in the back seat and talking to the policeman probably helped.

The next night ,(Saturday night), Simon, Aidan and I were on our way back from a wedding. Simon got pulled over for an RBT. He was fine for the breath test as he'd only drank half a glass of champagne for the wedding toasts, but when he was asked to wind down the window he found it hard to do because there was a great big spider on the outside of it....and Simon is arachnophobic. lol. Anyway..the cop told him to open it...and the spider ran inside the car...so in his panic Simon flicked it out of the car at the policeman....who nearly sh*t himself. lol. Too funny.

That very same spider was crawling on the roof towards Simons head inside the car earlier in the afternoon. I told Simon to pull over but wouldn't tell him why because I didn't want him to freak and have an accident. He kept asking why I wanted him to stop and I just firmly told him to "PULL OVER". Needless to say we couldn't get the spider out until after we got home....and as I mentioned above, it became apparent much later that evening that the spider didn't leave the car anyway!

Too funny :)

Anyway....back to work. My quick lunch break is now all gone!
