I'm home!
Unexpectedly Dad picked me up from the airport this morning, but man I am so not complaining.
I'm mostly done unpacking, the first load of laundry's done. Uhm.
The trip was nice! The journey itself I mean. I was actually lucky enough to not sit next to anyone on the longest of the flights, and just what kind of awesome luck is that, having it on both trips? Hah. Well, I could stretch a little and sit a little more comfortably. Not that I got a whole lot of sleep, seeing as in the row in front of me there was a family with a little child that somehow knew exactly when I was about to fall asleep. Started wailing at exactly those times. And then somewhere to my right, someone was snoring so loudly and so strangely, by all the growling, snarling and gurgling sounds you'd think you were in a dragon's den or something. There was a little girl during boarding who stared and pointed at me and whispered too loudly to her mother that I had feathers in my hair. I was amused, but then, I'm easy to amuse. Anyway, I did get sleep on the shorter two flights, but by now it's evening here and I've been up well over 24 hours (is it 36 yet? I lose track) and I'm at the stage where I'm trembling from tiredness. Don't think I'll be getting any groceries tonight.
I've called up my uncle already but haven't gotten in touch with anyone else besides, that'll wait til morning. Well. Anyone in the real world, anyway. The online people know I'm back. ^^ Plotting happened, and a revival of an old favorite crosscanon pairing happened too, and tomorrow I'll come off hiatus over at Soul Campaign probably. When I'm more awake-like. Guuh, beeed....
Oh, and apparently someone randomly tried to get up into our attic. I'm a little surprised and a little appalled. My dad has taken to installing a faux camera in the corner of the corridor, hah. I figure why the heck not. We've removed anything that can be used as a ladder from the hallway now, and either way they couldn't get into the actual attic anyway. It's very, very locked.
But now, I'm sleep deprived and rambling. I'll go get sleep.
