I'm gonna put my comments under a cut...there may be spoilers in the comments.
So, how odd is it that just when I've decided that Riley is the scum of the Earth I actually develop okayish thoughts about her. I don't necessarily like her, mind you, but I am starting to feel sorry for her. Jesse put her in a horrible position. And then Jesse hit her and damn I really wanted to write more T:tSCC fic just kill her off. Grrr.
And Jesse keep repeating that Riley is there to keep her away from "her". The whole thing just bugs me and got me thinking (and discussing with lightofsolais while we were watching).
What if Jesse's her refers to Sarah not Cameron?
Derek doesn't ever forget that Cameron is an it, metal. Jesse seems a little less lax about the machines (allowing one to drive the submarine they have) but not enough that she would refer to them in a male/female context.
Both Cameron and Sarah did not influence John in the future that Derek, Jesse, Riley and Cameron are from. So, the possibility is out there that Jesse wants Sarah dead.
Please correct me if I am wrong - there is the possibility that I missed a spot where Jesse actually said that she was back to stop Cameron, etc. I know there is the scene between Derek and Jesse, but I don't remember Jesse specifically mentioning Cameron. And Derek's assumption that she was referring to Cameron was initially mine as well.
