This is set post "Chosen" in Buffy but runs kinda parallel to the earlier seasons of Stargate. Jack is still a Colonel, not General, etc. So yes, I'm really messing with timelines here. Thanks :)

Chapter OneChapter TwoChapter Three I followed Jack back to his hotel room and he reluctantly let me in. He looked like he would have been perfectly happy to leave me outside.
“Stay out here for a few minutes. I’m going to go take a shower. I’ll be ten minutes, tops,” he informed me and walked into the bathroom. The door did not click locked behind him.
I sat down on the bed and waited a good three minutes after the shower turned on. I opened the bathroom door and immediately his head appeared from around the curtain.
“What are you doing?” he practically yelled at me. It was abundantly clear he was annoyed.
“I’m dirty too,” I calmly replied as I pulled off his tee shirt and my tank top. He didn’t say anything so I slid my pants down my legs and then work my way out of my thong.
“Faith,” the warning in his voice was clear but it was underlined by lust.
“Jack,” I mocked him as I walked toward the shower. Three steps and I was standing inches away from him.
“I’m not showering with you,” he finally broke the silence.
“Well then get out cause I’m getting in.”
“This is my hotel room.”
“We’re married. Half is mine,” I quickly shot back. He threw up his hands, which caused the shower curtain to close. I pulled the curtain back and stepped in. He looked, judging from his stance, pissed off. I imagine I might have been the same too, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me. “Listen, I didn’t come to Vegas to get hitched. Judging from your overly angry reaction neither did you. So, how about we just make the most of it?” I suggested.
Jack spun around to face me. “I told you I want an annulment or a divorce. I wasn’t kidding Faith. Marriage won’t work in my life right now.”
“Well then we’ll get the divorce or annulment. Does that mean I have to behave until then?” I questioned, crossing my arms over my chest, and leaning against the shower wall.
“And what exactly are you suggesting?”
“I came to Vegas to set aside the rules, to forget what my life was all about, and to get laid - a lot. So, my first night I get a stud, get hitched and then get laid. It leaves me with a large problem of continuing to get laid. Unless you’re willing to help me out,” I explained and he rolled his eyes.
“And you just want to use me?”
“I’d prefer to call it mutually beneficial,” I offered and he raised an eyebrow.
“Faith, listen, I know that we have a slip of paper that says we’re married…and you like to share. But, shower time is a very private, personal time for me,” Jack tried to reason with me.
“Jack, take a good - good look at me. And then tell me to get out,” I challenged him. Involuntarily his eyes roamed over my naked form before coming back to my face. He blushed ever so slightly.
“Christ…are you even eighteen?”
“Jack, I’m twenty-two. I met you in a bar. I had to show ID to get married…relax, you’re not robbing any cradle here.”
“But, you’re young enough to be my daughter,” he started to argue.
“Whoa-whoa-whoa!” I yelled and waved my hands at him. “Get that horrible idea out of your head. Listen Jack…out of those guys at the bar last night I chose you. You, Jack. And yes, I was shit-faced but still…I have great taste. I wanted you last night. I wanted you this morning. And I want you now.”
“Faith, I’m glad that you are…happy with picking me up. I’m flattered, really I am, but I can’t deal with this right now. I can’t deal with you right now. I need a moment alone. I need to work this out in my head because last night I managed to fuck up my life royally,” he attempted to explain. I froze, stung by the raw emotion in his words.
“I’m sorry Jack, I pushed too hard, and this isn’t right. I’ll be out in your room,” I quickly apologized, all the bravado falling out of my voice. Gone was Faith, bad ass vampire slayer and in her place stood an insecure, deflated young woman.
Jack didn’t move as I slid out of the shower and walked out of the room. I picked up my discarded clothes as I went, putting them all back on once I reached the bed. I dug my crumpled back of cigarettes and a lighter out of my pants pocket and stepped outside.

I left the door cracked, as I welcomed the blinding Nevada sunlight. Over the years I had grown to love the sun for the ultimate safety and warmth it provided, and yet curse its descent every night. I lit my smoke and took a long first drag.
“Those things will kill you,” Jack’s voice approached me from behind. I ignored him and leaned on the chipped black metal railing.
“I doubt it. Done your shower, Colonel?”
“It isn’t every day I wake up married. And you are way too young to spend a life with me. I have no idea how to react to this, how to talk to you. And despite what you might think, I honestly don’t want to hurt your feelings, Faith.”
“Leaves us in a pretty pickle, huh?” I finally quietly stated as I took another long drag. The cigarette wasn’t doing much for my nerves.
“Exactly, so how about you finish up your cigarette, I’ll go finish my shower, and after your turn, we’ll talk.”
“You saying I smell, Jack?” I teased as I turned to smile at him over my shoulder. But the sight of Jack in jeans, covered in a fine layer of water, made my jaw drop. He froze as he saw the look that passed over my face.
“I’ll only be a minute,” he quickly stated and fled.
“I hope you last longer than that,” I muttered and returned to my cigarette.
