1. Which is your favorite series from your list? And why?
Buffy. It has been my favorite series for so long that I don't believe anything will ever compete. Nothing has ever impacted me nearly as much as this show did. The others though have all had very special places in my heart. Queer As Folk became my favorite show in college. I watched it all the time, as often as I could, and fell head over heels in love with the gay community. Brian Kinney might have had a lot to do with that. Law and Order: SVU is a show that I don't follow religiously when it comes to new episodes, but I can watch reruns of this show without growing tired. I know there are episodes that I have seen at least four or five times and I still don't mind watching them again. I came into Supernatural via Buffy crossover fanfic. Some of my favorite authors at Twisting the Hellmouth starting crossing over with Supernatural and I decided to see what the big deal was. I'm hooked. And lastly, SCC. We are only three episodes in but this show has grabbed my attention and made me take notice. I can only hope that Fox doesn't sign its death warrant. And - it has Summer Glau!! Wheee!!
2. If you were to pair two characters from 1 and 4, who would they be?
I'd love to see Faith and Brian Kinney just for the hotness factor, but alas Brian Kinney doesn't do anything with a pussy. *le sigh* On a more realistic note, I think Giles and Deb would be great. Or maybe Xander and Daphne.
3. What is one thing you'd like to change about 3's plotline?
I know that Mariska Hargity was pregnant and I would never want to change that, but I hated the plot line that they devised with that. I don't think they did a very good job of "hiding" her pregnancy. And I don't like how they wrote her into a different section (internet crimes) and had her and Stabler fighting. No go in my book. Benson and Stabler can fight, but they can't hate each other. Nope.
4. If both main characters of 2 and 5 were falling off a cliff, which one would you save?
Supernatural's characters. Besides, I'm sure that Cameron would find a way to protect John if not Sarah from certain death.
5. Which event was the most horrible for you in 1?
I have to pick just one? How am I going to be able to do that with seven seasons??? Having Buffy kill Angel and send him to Hell at the end of Season Two was hard, but it was made easier by knowing David Boreanaz would be back because he was getting his own show following the third season. Having Buffy's friends and family turn on her in Season Seven was difficult. She knew what needed to be done and the others just weren't willing to accept it.
But the most horrible I will have to say is when they turned Spike from The Big Bad Evil Kick-Ass Vampire into a pussy. They made him William the Bloody because of his bloody awful poetry. They fucked up and made Drusilla his Sire rather than Angelus. They gave him a chip and then had him beg for a soul! WTF Joss? WTF? Your monsters are better served as monsters. Spike was just a poor man's Angel. The end.
6. Which is your least favorite character of 2?
Bela. Yes, I'll join in with the hordes of others that hate her, but she is truly a useless character. I don't even care that Kripke decided to add more people this season, and girls at that, but Bela is a waste. Bring back Ellen before you use more Bela.
7. If the antagonist of 3 were to rape the main character of 1, what would you do?
I'm not sure there is a true antagonist in Law and Order: SVU. This question is just weird how it turned out. But I guess I'd have to kill them, or let Buffy do it herself. Though, in my opinion, she didn't handle Spike's rape attempt as violently as she should have.
8. What song reminds you of 5?
I'm not sure that any particular song reminds me of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. If I was forced to pick one, I'd say "It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)" by R.E.M. If I had cheated and looked ahead I would have used Firefly as my 5 because then I could honestly answer, with great confidence, that Nickelcreek's "When In Rome" reminds me of Firefly / Serenity. The opening sounds so very much like the opening theme for Firefly.
9. Of 1, 3, and 5, which is the easiest to think about?
I think about Buffy all the time. I do a lot, lot, lot of Buffy crossover fanfics.
10. Are the protagonists of 2 and 4 similar?
No. Well maybe. I guess you could reasonably compare similarities between Dean and Brian. And I imagine there could be some between Sam and Justin too. I'd say there are more similarities between Dean/Brian then Sam/Justin.
